Supporting 4Louis: A Contribution That Makes a Difference

At GE Groundworks, we believe that being a successful local business means more than delivering quality work — it also means giving back to the community that supports us. One recent example of this commitment was our contribution to a fundraising raffle in support of 4Louis, a charity that provides memory boxes and bereavement support to families affected by the loss of a baby or child.

The event was organised by The Cleaning Angels, a well-known local business celebrating their 10th anniversary. As part of their celebrations, they hosted a charity raffle with proceeds split between 4Louis and the ROC Group, two causes close to the hearts of many in Newton Aycliffe and beyond. GE Groundworks was proud to donate a £200 voucher for Hall Garth Hotel, offering the winner the opportunity to enjoy a relaxing break, a meal, or a spa experience.

While the event didn’t receive widespread media coverage, it was strongly supported by the local community, with a high number of raffle tickets sold and many local businesses contributing. The Cleaning Angels did an excellent job organising the initiative, and we were pleased to play a small role in helping raise valuable funds for two important charities.

Supporting initiatives like this reflects our values as a business. We’re committed to making a positive impact not only through the work we do, but also through the causes we support.
